I'm annoyed that my post was the last in the old Annoyance topic. http://forum.nightwish-world.com/public/style_emoticons/default/post-84-125168357274.gif

People who queued for hours to vote were turned away because it reached the time limit. Even though they had been there hours before the time limit, what seems like thousands of people all across the UK (Manchester, Birmingham, London, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, and in many more places) have been not allowed to vote. It is absolutely disgusting. The officials have known for WEEKS that there would be a much bigger turn-out to vote than before, so why didn't they make provisions for this?

Also, there is a story of in one place, when it got near the time limit, the residents and students were split into two separate lines, with the residents allowed to vote and the students turned away... Though I'm not sure the accuracy of that story!

Story on the BBC News website supports the Sheffield "residents vs. students" tale.

"As I eventually got to the table a student was almost in tears as she thought I was going to take her place and she told me she had queued for two and a half hours!"

And in the constituency next to mine, Chester, Labour are saying that 600 people weren't announced as registered to vote because they hadn't updated the polling list. I have to register at Chester because that's where the new council is based. I'm starting to wonder if I was denied my vote.

(Cheshire West and Chester Council is Conservative run. Insert conspiracy theory here)

I just woke up from an extremely bad dream to the realization I do not have class at 10 this morning as I thought, but it started at 8 already. Gosh, I hate today already and I've barely been awake 30 minutes

I'm still annoyed of full trains and people who talk so loud that everyone can follow their conversations. http://forum.nightwish-world.com/public/style_emoticons/default/200992319440.gif

I hate group work. I hate group work with drama queen control freaks. I hate it when they think they should write everything and then I have to go through and fix it all because nothing they write makes any fucking sense and they couldn't use proper fucking grammar if their life depended on it. I have enough to worry about right now, I don't need this shit.

@ Los: Group work is extremely unsexy. :disagree:

My annoyance: I want to leave tomorrow to embark on a road trip, but this weekend is Mother's Day, so my boyfriend wants to stay here for the weekend, but I realllllllllllllly think it's a big fucking waste of time to spend two more days here, plus I HATE it when we go spend time with his family... in Kansas. *dies*

Last night I went to bed about 1 and I woke up this morning at 7:30.

I've been packing my stuff for the last two hours.

I still have more to pack.

I want my parents to get here.

I want to graduate so I can leave.

I want my graduation presents.
